We have two eaglets!!! I do not believe any more. Yesterday when we were watching the nest intensely, I saw the female calling but no mate came rushing in. Later on while going around in the area I spotted the mate returning to the nest. In the four minutes or so it took to get back to the nest, he had left and mom was feeding two hungry mouths. That lasted all of three minutes and then she tucked them in and went back to keeping them warm.

NO EAGLETS IN SIGHT YET
We visited both nest sights today and no babies in sight yet. One nest had a lot of activity going on with the "dad" dropping off a freshly caught fish and the "mom" getting up and rearranging whatever is in the bottom of the nest.
The second nest was very quiet. Ten straight minutes of staring and the nestee raised her head two or three times. Her posture wasn't of hatching either. She was in the center of the nest and sitting queitly.

Eagles 2009
I've been watching two eagle nests for the past few weeks and for the past three days have been observing egg hatching postures from the sitting eagles on both nests.
The bird is facing left and its wings are raised slightly.
Please forgive the "blurry" shot, but this was digiscoped with my old standby Olympus C-550Z and adjusted.
